Open Water Confidence Course
A course designed for people who can swim, but don’t feel fully comfortable in open water.
Over three guided sessions, we work step by step to build confidence, calm and control in the sea. Always accompanied by the instructor, you will learn how to relax, float, breathe and move safely in open water, even where you cannot stand.
We begin with a first session focused on equipment and breathing. You will learn how to use mask and snorkel comfortably, how to breathe efficiently and how to feel relaxed in the water from the very beginning.
The following two sessions take place in open water. Starting close to the shore, we gradually move further out, always supported and at your own pace, using a freediving buoy for safety and comfort.
You will practice:
Floating and relaxing without effort
Using mask and snorkel with confidence
Understanding the environment and choosing safe snorkeling spots
Managing situations where you don’t touch the bottom
The goal is simple.
To feel safe, comfortable and able to enjoy snorkeling over the reef.
