AIDA Instructor Course
The AIDA Instructor Course is the gateway to a professional career in freediving. As an instructor, you’ll not only deepen your own skills but also learn how to share freediving safely and effectively with others. This program is designed for highly motivated candidates ready to take responsibility as educators in the freediving community.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Throughout the course, you will be evaluated on:
Teaching skills: Preparing and delivering classroom theory and practical lessons.
Water competence: Demonstrating mastery in both confined and open water environments.
Knowledge: Completing student and instructor-level theory exams.
This is a demanding program that requires dedication, preparation, and professionalism. All freediving disciplines must be solid before beginning the course—candidates are encouraged to complete the AIDA 4 – Master Freediver as preparation.
CAREER PATHWAY
With this certification you will be qualified to:
Teach and certify AIDA 1, AIDA 2 and AIDA 3 courses.
Introduce new students to freediving in a safe, structured, and enjoyable way.
Work internationally as part of the global freediving community.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Duration: Intensive program (schedule varies by location).
Requirements: Minimum age 18, AIDA 4 (or equivalent), valid First Aid/CPR within the last 2 years, medical certificate (can be obtained in Dahab).
