AIDA 3 – Advanced Freediver
The AIDA 3 course (3 days) is designed for students who already completed AIDA 2 and want to expand their freediving knowledge, depth, and safety skills. You will refine your technique, learn advanced equalization, and explore deeper dives in a safe and structured way.
SKILLS YOU WILL GAIN
Hold your breath for at least 2:45 minutes.
Complete 55 meters dynamic apnea.
Perform comfortable dives to 24–30 meters depth.
Apply advanced safety and rescue procedures.
WHAT´S INCLUDED
3 days of training combining theory, pool/confined water, and open water sessions.
Review of fundamental freediving skills, plus advanced techniques.
Freediving equipment, student kit, and AIDA 3 certification.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Equalization: Master the Frenzel technique and practice thoracic stretching for deeper dives.
Buoyancy & free falling: Proper weighting and efficient descent techniques.
Physiology: Pulmonary function, barotrauma prevention, and adaptations to depth.
Training methods: Using CO₂ tables to improve tolerance and endurance.
Rescue & safety: Scenarios at depth and surface, including self-rescue.

Duration: 3 days
Requirements: AIDA 2 certification, minimum 18 years old (or 16 with parental consent), able to swim 400 m non-stop, at least 15 logged freediving sessions, medical certificate.
