AIDA 2 Freediver – Open Water Course
Our AIDA 2 course (2.5 days) is designed for beginners who want to enter the world of freediving in a safe, enjoyable, and professional way. The course is available in Spanish or English, depending on your preference.
SKILLS YOU WILL GAIN
Hold your breath for 2 to 3 minutes.
Perform comfortable dives between 12 and 20 meters deep.
Complete 40 meters of dynamic apnea in confined water.
Apply basic rescue techniques and safety protocols.
WHAT´S INCLUDED
3 open water sessions, focused on depth, equalization, and rescue.
2 confined water sessions, for static and dynamic apnea.
Theory and practice sessions covering physics, physiology, breathing and relaxation, pressure, and equalization.
Freediving equipment, study material, and internationally recognized AIDA 2 certification.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You will learn efficient breathing and relaxation techniques to prepare for your dives. You will get familiar with the different freediving disciplines, finning technique, body positioning, and buddy safety procedures.
You will also experience the unique feeling of descending in open water in Dahab—one of the best places in the world to begin freediving, thanks to its safe conditions, clear waters, and relaxed environment.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Duration: 2.5 days.
Requirements: Ability to swim at least 200 m non-stop or 300 m with snorkel, minimum age 18 (or 16 with parental consent), and a medical certificate.
